Amaç
Araştırma gebelerin cinselliğe karşı tutum ve risk algılarını belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı kesitsel olarak yapıldı.
Yöntem
Araştırmanın örneklemini bir devlet hastanesinin kadın doğum polikliniğine başvuran 255 gebe kadın oluşturdu. Araştırma verileri, Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Gebelikte Cinselliğe Karşı Tutum Ölçeği ve Gebelikte Risk Algısı Ölçeği kullanılarak toplandı. Verilerin analizinde frekans analizi (sayı, yüzde, ortalama), Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskall-Wallis H testi, Shapiro-Wilk ve Spearman korelasyon analizi kullanıldı.
Bulgular
Bu çalışmada gebelerin Gebelikte Cinselliğe Karşı Tutum ölçeği toplam puan ortalamalarının (116,07±21,26) orta düzeyde olduğu saptandı (p<0,05). Gebelikte Risk Algısı Ölçeği toplam puan ortalamalarının (34,02±22,05) orta düzeyde olduğu ve gebelikte cinsel birleşmeyi riskli bir durum olarak algılamayan gebelerin risk algılarının yüksek olduğu belirlendi (p<0,05). Araştırmada gebelerin cinselliğe karşı tutum ve risk algıları arasında anlamlı düzeyde bir ilişki saptanmadı (p>0,05).
Sonuç
Sağlık profesyonellerinin gebelikte cinsellik açısından risk algısı ve tutumuna yönelik danışmanlık faaliyetleri ve eğitim programları düzenlenmeleri önerilebilir.
